Kim Harrington has inked another deal for a YA book. Writing under the name K. A. Harrington, the author will release Forget Me as a standalone title in 2014. Many of Harrington’s novels feature some type of paranormal element, but Forget Me eshews the supernatural (hence the pen name, which helps differentiate the book from Harrington’s paranormal novels) and will be a contemporary YA thriller. Below is the Publisher’s Marketplace description Harrington posted on her blog.
K.A. Harrington’s FORGET ME is set in a dying town full of abandoned places, in which a 17-year-old uploads a photo of her dead boyfriend to a social media site and the facial recognition software tags him with someone else’s name: a boy who lives two towns away and looks just like him, but is very much alive.
