Recipe: Monkey Bread

 photo monkey bread_zpsyf5opkhz.jpgI can’t believe that I gone without Monkey Bread for this long. As delicious as a cinnamon roll, but with the added fun of a pull-apart bread, Monkey Bread is easy and relatively quick to make.

Since I was short on time, I took some short cuts in making my bread, but if you want an option that is more made-from-scratch, check out this version from All Recipes. The top is crunchy and sweet, the inside is ooey-gooey and cinnamon filled.

Monkey Bread

serves 12


3 10-oz tubes of refrigerated  cinnamon roll dough

1/2 cup butter

3/4 cup sugar


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease a tube pan.
  3. Quarter the cinnamon rolls with kitchen shears. (Dip the shears in water in between each cut so they do not stick to the dough.)
  4. Melt butter.
  5. Mix in sugar.
  6. Pour mixture over dough.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
