Stitch Fix October 2017

The start of a new season is always exciting. The crisp weather, the seasonal vegetables, the new clothes. And my October clothes box from Stitch Fix did not disappoint.

First out of the box was Look by M’s Karlie Plaid Oblong Scarf. It’s oversized, warm, and super soft.

Sadie & Sage’s Alder Tie Front Knit Top is VERY comfortable. I like how it is easy to dress it up or down and the fabric feels great.

Who doesn’t love elephants? While they can be cheesy on clothes, they definitely work on 41 Hawthorn’s Ellie Printed 3/4 Sleeve Blouse. I love shirts with sleeve tabs, which this one has too. Win!

The Elizabeth Super Skinny Jean from Liverpool is so dark, I can pull it off as black pants at work. They are also very comfy. And, unlike most leggings or super skinny jeans, they actually have pockets.

These sueded Dawn Bow Flats from MIA were initially a little hard on my feet. Now that I have worn them a bit, they feel just as good as they look.

How does Stitch Fix work? Each month you pay a $20 styling fee. Then your stylist chooses 5 items based on your answers to the style quiz. You open the box to see what you’ve received, try everything on, and decide what you’ll keep and if you’ll send anything back. If you keep it all, you get 25% off of the price. If you keep any of the items, the styling fee is credited towards what you’ll pay. If there is anything you want to send back, you pop it into the enclosed returns bag. If you don’t keep any of the clothing, you do not get the styling fee back. It’s really very easy and fun.
