About

Simply Infatuated is a blog devoted to my current whims and fancies. Since I am a huge book nerd, expect a lot of posts to be oriented around literature. This is not strictly a book blog, however, so if you also expect music, movies, green living, and food mixed in.

I spend my days entertaining children, so in my off hours I prefer to pass the time with frivolous, less-draining pursuits, and  enjoy documenting them.  Things that currently suck up the bulk of my attention include my cats, food truck festivals, and my search for the perfect spa treatment.

  1. I am amazed at how many books you read. I love your blog and your book reviews. I would love for you to do a review of my new book, Promises. It’s a middle grade historical fiction novel, with a touch of mystery, adventure, and romance (as much as you can have for a 12 to 15 year old). It comes out March 24th.

You are welcome to check it out on my website, http://www.carolyntwedefrank.com to see if it is something you might be interested in reading and reviewing. If you are, I’d love to hear back from you. If you are too busy, or this is not a book you’d rather review, I certainly understand and I appreciate you letting me take your time with this letter.

    Sincerely,
    Carolyn Twede Frank

  3. Hey there guys. I just wanted to stop by because you were kind enough to be a part of the blog tour for Until Next Time and because of amazing sites like yours, an event has been put together for the book. I wanted to let you and your readers know about a really big event that’s coming up with cash and book giveaways – if you want to stop by or post on your site. Thank you!

  4. Jessica and Lisa, I love your site. Because you hosted my book today, I discovered you, and I’m glad I did. Jersey girls must stick together. And cat lovers. And as I read your bio thing–you also like the Hunger Games. Me, too. Well, keep up the good work. Kate Lutter Wild Point Island

  5. Dear Simply Infatuated,

Thank you for your promo post last month.

Please drop in this afternoon (Tues. Dec. 18th) to
the virtual release party for St. Nick’s Favor, the sequel to Chasing
    the Trickster.

    http://www.facebook.com/StNicksFavor?ref=hl

The party will be held from 1-5 pm EST. There will be novel and
short story giveaways. Also holiday recipes and music (if I can
figure out how to do that with Facebook). And there
will be a book trailer for St. Nick’s Favor as well.

    Blurb:
St. Nicholas asks Nina Weaver to be his emissary. Her mission is to
take a one-way trip five years into her past to save the lives of
thousands of children. Doing this will result in her losing the life
she has built in New York City, including her relationship with
Pascal Guzman. Nina faces down corporate greed, attempts on her life
and the terrors of the Trickster God to keep her promise.

Even if you can’t attend the party, please drop by to “like” the page.

    Hope to see you there,

    April Grey

  6. I love British TV shows as well. In fact, every time my hubby walks in and sees me watching a British show, he sarcastically says, “Oh, it’s British so it must be good.” The thing is, it usually is good–very good, indeed.
