She may be a “down-and-out orphan,” but she’s no Annie. Molly Moon, the lead character in Georgia Byng’s series of the same name, is making the move from print to film.
According to Variety, the Molly Moon series has been picked up by Amber Entertainment with Byng, Lawrence Elman, and Ileen Maisel producing. Christopher Rowley is set to direct. The only cast members that have been announced thus far are Raffey Cassidy as Molly and former hobbit Dominic Monaghan as a bank robber who will do anything he can to steal Molly’s valuable, one-of-a-kind hypnotism book from her.
